i think she’s better by the width of a hair because she actually has to abide by the ostensible democratic party platform despite the fact that she herself is quite right-wing. given the democratic party platform aims to be marginally better than the republican party platform, i want her to win as a means of damage control since she will, as i said, be slightly better than trump, which i do believe makes enough of a difference to justify hoping she wins, and to justify telling people who live in states like florida + pennsylvania + nevada + etc to absolutely vote for her
also i want her to win because if trump wins that’s like, goading on the alt-right to get more aggressive. i recognize that we, in the 21st century, are witnessing a very disgusting rise in support for fascistic beliefs parallel to the internet and it’ll keep getting worse regardless of if trump wins or hillary wins but if trump wins then i predict it’d be a signal to the alt-right to go all-out when it comes to violence towards trans people, people of color, etc. we can’t let them perceive any level of victory imho
